REPORTS TO: Vice President - Business Development LOCATION: Parsons, Kansas, member of Parsons Regional Team POSTING DATE: August 9, 2011. Open until filled. The Financial Services Officer leads with a competitive and keen marketing talent in assigned territory to market, grow, service and retain agricultural AgProduction mortgage and commercial loan portfolio. Additionally, markets full array of financial services. We’re looking for a person who… capably builds relationships with ag producers whose primary income source comes from their farming and ranching activities. understands production and financial management needs of crop and livestock producers. brings successful experience in agricultural sales or lending. has or quickly develops high competence in credit and financial skills for all deliverable financial services. builds and maintains positive business relationships with member customers, customers’ advisors, and internal team members to market, service and retain loan portfolio. capably leverages the knowledge and collaborative support provided by internal financial analyst, crop insurance, business services, and credit teams. markets complete range of financial and related services. demonstrates a passion for farmers and ranchers, and those who choose to live and work in rural America. consistently demonstrates ability to bring results to team and association as a strong collaborative individual contributor. identifies marketplace and customer potential, then makes strong contribution to achieve team and company goals. proactively identifies and takes appropriate action to ensure compliance with internal lending and credit principles. values relationships, trusts processes, and respects the knowledge and talents of others to accomplish own and team’s work to provide highest-quality customer-centric service. You’ll bring to us… demonstrated prior success in relationship marketing that increased value and achieved company objectives. a Bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics, finance, business, or similar discipline plus several years ag-related work experience preferred. experience or strong knowledge of production, business management, marketing, or finance of agricultural operations. rapid development aptitude of expert knowledge to apply lending principles and credit procedures, loan documentation, pricing, collateral evaluation, and loan compliance to own successful portfolio management. strong critical thinking skills that lead to making and executing sound credit and marketing decisions. the ability to drive on a daily or regular basis within assigned local area to meet current and potential clients. flexibility to plan and balance multiple activities, with demonstrated record of working accurately and effectively to achieve customer and internal work team timelines. demonstrated ability for both leadership and followership to thrive in a team environment. above average written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills coupled with strong computer proficiency. consistent demonstration of exemplary personal and professional integrity, confidentiality and conduct.
