ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Develop and present nutrient management plans and precision farming products to customers. Conduct grid soil sampling. Make recommendations to patrons and prospects using up-to-date product knowledge. Respond to all complaints and follow up to assure satisfactory settlement. Adhere to company credit policy and collect for sales. Responsible for meeting all company, local state and federal safety, environmental and regulatory requirements. Required Skills REQUIREMENTS Normally requires a four year college degree in an agricultural related field or equivalent experience and training. Must have and maintain or be able to attain Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) and Comprehensive Nutrient Management Plan (CNMP) status. Farming background. Knowledge of agronomy. Ability to read and interpret documents such as soil maps, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volume, etc. Proven computer skills are a must. Proven professional communication, persuasion, presentation and customer service skills. Proven time management skills and ability to work independently. Maintain valid Wisconsin driver’s license Ability to travel independently and overnight when necessary.
